Volpi

Established in 1902, Volpi Foods is a St. Louis treasure located in The Hill neighborhood, and a major player in the artisan cured meats industry with clients all over the world.

The interior design of the retail store includes the juxtaposition of marble and re-purposed lumber. Hanging meat is on display along the back wall, which hints at the traditional curing methods taking place behind the scenes. Volpi’s famous prosciutto is still made using only three basic ingredients: air, salt, and time.

Historic photographs will be enlarged and used as wall graphics and new storefront glass brings natural light further into the space.
